Carlos, you have raised the bar again. You're giving gems away! This should help many of the guys out there. What the hell, it's simple. How do you combat your fear? By doing the thing that scares you. Have fun with it, make it a game, until you get so used to it that it's no longer a chore. Carlos, I've looked at all the gurus sites and if they were smart, they would learn from you. Thanks for the audio. Keep up the great work.

I lived in Paris, France in the late fifties and early sixties. I lived in Montréal for one year in 1996. In each of these cases where I lived in a French environment women always approached me. All I had to do was saying one short comment in French. However when I lived in Germany for over ten years and now in Canada since the mid eighteies. This never happens. If it does happen it only happens in areas where French Canadians live. So, the French language seems to have some magic pull which other languages such as English and German do not have! Have you ever heard something similar before?

That's interesting…
I think there are more cultural aspects of this than language, though language (as we know from NLP) can play a large part in it.
I don't like to jump into cultural generalizations or beliefs too far because they tend to become self-fulfilling prophecies and blanket excuses.
"Oh, Germans just don't flirt."
Not true. German chicks are a LOT of fun.
But their language hurts my mouth…
Also, keep in mind that over the decades, cultures swing in the different age brackets, too.
I find that if I think the people are friendly, they most often are.
If I think they are not, they most often are not.
