"There's a boatload of information in there and it will take me some time to assimilate all the techniques to defend myself against the games other people play. However, it didn't take me long to be able to spot the games in other people. Then I got pissed. After getting over the pissed feelings, I began to have a deeper understanding of what CX is teaching in the PSS.
Now I'm trying to use the knowledge to make MY world a better place. I know I can't change the people that are playing the games; it's become automatic for them. However, I can work against the games to diffuse or defuse the situations. It's been a great help on my current path of development that includes emulating the alpha traits of setting boundaries and facing conflict, instead of posturing or collapsing. It's really amazing to watch the expressions of people when their games don't work 100% on me! I know I'll get better at all of this as time goes by. "Hey Carlos, A few years ago I was obsessed with the whole PUA thing. I studied the seminars, did the live 3 day bootcamps with the gurus, read the ebooks etc, even wrote my own stuff on the net. I got to the point where I was able to go out to any club and KNOW I could pick up a girl and get laid. "For my part I want to say that what Carlos does is a great thing and in my personal life it has helped me more than I can describe with words.
When I first read some material on the web what Carlos whas teaching I was a total wussy then. A total nice guy. I thought to myself: "This can not possible work. I must be nice to girls. Buy them stuff, compliment them, kiss ass etc..." At first I fought against what Carlos teached but luckily I had something inside of me that just told me that his stuff make sense. I though I got nothing to lose since I had really nothing :). A year later and alot of work on myself I have had a total paradigm change in my life, on how I think things, act on things... on how I live my every day life. No longer I react on my impulses or act like a total wuss. I started not being able to approach and talk to girls to simply approaching girls when I want, where I want and how I want. "I must say it's pretty cool that thru internet you reach guys around the globe and not just in your area. I've got your Triple-threat program, finished DVD 3. I think this might be the best self-help program ever... I've got recently the triple-threat program, but I got your newsletter since a few months now. I think this program is effective, easy to understand, and most importantly deep, since ALPHA men need to be savvy. I've had during the first 3 DVDs so many 'A-HA' moments. I think if this program would distributed more and it will crush any other system or method. Nothing against all the pick up methods, but this is like Bruce Lee against any other normal fighter. I've read most of the other methods they lack the inner game, and they dont want me to success other areas of my life. I feel they delude me in thinking I need to be pua in order to sleep with a woman. You tell me, hey you can have both, and even MORE. You need to get deeper... (oh, no! a little effort!). Through your newsletter I got acquainted with the three S's, but the triple-threat program helped me more by applying a confident attitude to ALL areas of my life, not women only. I see the alpha attitude as the successful men's point of view to improve your life every single day. It's my option to be sincere and stop deluding myself, when the results are not what I want. As you said it's about the RESULTS are what matter. The most helpful diagram was 'Flipping the Switch' so far, by juxtaposing two different angles, the beta and alpha man's. Every time I'm about to fall into a beta attitude I think about the alpha man's attitude and changed to it because that's the one which brings me to where I want to be. Good at every area: uni, martial art, work, friends and family, and girls! As you say 'Find the right Attitude and you'll always have a technique'. I think if you have the right attitude the three S's are 'included'. The Genuine Connector Technique is I think the ultimate technique against anxiety towards bitchy or hostile looking women. After visualizing the filament of light connecting with you and her, they suddenly change their behaviour and start being nice to me! The alpha mantra 'DO IT NOW' probably used battles any thoughts of hesitation or anxiety something to do. I haven't finished the triple-threat program yet, but I havent expected to be it that powerful, smart, and easy to understand. I have strived before to be alpha, but those DVDs push you as they explain it easy to understand, but most of it they break my negative belief bit by bit, by saying see it from this angle, see it in a way so that you can improve from it, not pull yourself down. I think the most important thing is the inner game. You're like Morpheus in the Matrix showing us the path, giving us knowledge, but in the end its our decision to do with it what we want." - G. "I wish I had had you to write to a couple of years ago so that you could have bitch slapped the shit out of me... the silver lining of that relationship for me was that I was so disturbed and disenchanted after it that it lead me to this world of the 'men who undertand the game of life and women' (dont want to use PUA, it can have a negative connotation) because I realized that i was doing something terribly wrong for all of my life with women.
